A game that is fond of gay stereotypes is a game that is homophobic. Stereotyping minorities is a way that bigotry is perpetuated. The game itself is in love with the gay stereotypes it uses. This is 1 of the funnest and most underrated beat-em-ups you're gonna play out there. Point two is actually a pretty good refutation of your claim that the satire excuses the treatment of the characters. This video features God Hand and all cutscenes stitched into 1 movie.

This Godhand manifests itself as a tattooed arm with a set of metal braces called the 'Deistic Brace' that seal its full power until Gene removes them. After having his right arm chopped off, Gene receives his God Hand from Olivia. It is nostalgic for it and in love with the stereotypes and sense of humor it uses. Were you so bothered by the “homophobia” that you didn’t notice the Mad Midget V bosses parodying the fucking Power Rangers? Or the fact that you could kick a man IN A GORILLA SUIT in the balls? The only part that wasn’t completely parodying EVERY FUCKING BEAT ‘EM UP AND CLICHE FROM GAMING EVARRR (and the occasional pop culture reference) was the whole back story to the God Hands. That entire fucking game’s plot was a joke for the most part.
